The custom of giving Sweetheart Spoons as lasting tokens of affection goes back in time through Celtic History. Originally made of carved wood this silver version has been produced by Isle of Mull Silver. Hearts always featured in the design. Although the handles were often of very intricate patterns, the bowls were almost always left plain.
