Description
The MacLean’s Cross was commissioned by a member of the Clan MacLean in the last quarter of the 15th century and is situated at the junction of three medieval streets between the Abbey and the Nunnery on Iona.
The cross is decorated with an intricate mesh of intertwined plant stems.
